This guide has been prepared to assist merchants in getting setup with Payment Express Ecommerce Solutions.

Complete the online application form

This application form can be completed online. When prompted to select your payment solution please choose from: ecommerce, manual payments, recurring payments or call centre - depending on your business requirements. If you are unsure about any other details on this form, please leave these fields blank or select unsure.

What happens from here?

A member of the Payment Express sales team will contact you within 3 working days of receiving this application to confirm technical and commercial details to establish the payment gateway for you. Payment Express sales can answer any questions you may have, and provide you with information on establishing the electronic merchant account with your bank.

Applying for an electronic merchant account

You will need to establish an electronic merchant account with your bank, specifically configured for Payment Express ecommerce. An electronic merchant account is an account set up for processing ecommerce (card not present) transactions. For more information, please view our bank guide pages. Please note that you will not need a merchant account if you are setting up Account2Account, Payment Express sales will advise what you need to set it up.

Test account activation process

Once development of your website is complete and you are ready to start accepting live payments you will need to notify Payment Express to activate your test account, please allow for no less than 3 working days for Payment Express to review and complete this request.
